Slow Bal Improver 1: „Stardust“
If you have (recently) started your Slow Bal journey, this is the level for you. You have already attended a Slow Bal workshop or a few Slow Bal classes and are eager to learn more. You are familiar with Slow Bal footwork and basic shapes like the slow-out. This level will help you improve the fundamentals and expand your Slow Bal horizon.
You’re already very experienced in Balboa, Lindy Hop or another couple dance and are curious about Slow Bal? If you have been to a Slow Bal taster before and are a fast learner, this level could be the right place for you, too.
Slow Bal Improver 2: „Moonglow“
This level is for you if your Slow Bal journey has already progressed. You have taken several Slow Bal workshops, locally as well as internationally. You have a wide range of Slow Bal vocabulary and slow music at socials doesn’t scare but excite you. If you dance and train Slow Bal regularly, this is the ideal level to take your dancing to new heights.
Balboa Improver 1: „Rockin‘ In Rhythm“
If you take regular classes and are eager to expand your dance vocabulary, this level is perfect for you. You dance Bal Swing figures (lollies, swivels, toss-out, out-and-ins) and Pure Bal at a tempo of 190 BPM in a relaxed way. You add variations to your moves in harmony with the music and your partner. In this level you will learn cool moves and plenty of tricks to advance your dancing.
Balboa Improver 2: „Rigamarole“
If you belong to the most experienced dancers in your scene and classic moves (e.g. Maxi Slide or Hal’s roll) are a part of your repertoire, this level is for you. The fastest music at socials doesn’t scare but excite you. You visit workshops and festivals at home and abroad regularly, audition for advanced levels and maybe even teach sometimes? Then this could be the right place for you. This level is for experienced dancers who want to work on the basics again and like improvisation.
